I began my career as a makeup artist over 25 years ago in Hollywood. After graduating the Joe Biasco Makeup Academy, I aquired certification and licensing in: F/X Special Effects & Prosthetics, Custom blend Color Cosmetics and Aesthetics.

I moved to Las Vegas in 1994 and became the makeup artist to many of the stars, appearing weekly on the Fox Channel Morning Show. During this time I worked as the regional and national makeup artist for Christian Dior and Guerlain Cosmetics and seven years as the lead makeup artist at the world famous Canyon Ranch Spa in the Venetian Casino Hotel. I was also awarded 'Makeup Artist of the Year' by the Las Vegas Life Magazine.

Seeking a change in climate in 2007, I moved to South Lake Tahoe, an area I loved since childhood. Here I continued to expand my skill base at Harrah's and Harvey's Casinos, specializing in Eyelash Extensions, Eyebrow Definition and Bridal Makeup (over 5000 brides to date)

In 2009 I moved to Northern California to work at the elite 'Chez Beaute'. During this time I started to develop my own line of cosmetics 'Makeup By Paul.'

In 1010 I returned to Las Vegas to join the team and launch my line at 'Color A Salon By Michael Boychuck' in Caesars Palace.

In 2011 I moved back to my home in L.A. to relaunch my line 'Makeup By Paul', also known as "MXP" (Makeup By Paul) and join the team at "J Beverly Hills', to work with world renowned "Juan Juan." In 2013 I decided to open my own Salon and Boutique - "Makeup By Paul" At Charm Beauty Salon in Sherman Oaks, California.

My clients include Paris and Nikki Hilton, Grace Jones, Rhonda Sheer, Tipper Gore, Jennifer Tilly, Jane Pauly, Charo. Susan Anton, Macy Tracy, Crystal Bernard, Anna Nicole Smith, Tina Louise and Paula Abdul. I have appeared on 'Oprah', Lifetime's 'A Wedding Story', 'The Morning Show', and Robin Leach's 'Penthouse Vegas' on Fox, 'Extreme Makeover', KMTM and 'E'. I have worked behind the scenes as the primary makeup artist on fashion shows and print ads for many design houses including Bebe, Ebel Watches, Brighton, Cache, Lane Bryant, Jimmi Choo, Miki Moto, Wolford, Pal Zaileri, Privilege, Chick Couture, Burberry and Kenneth Cole. I have also worked behind the camera on the faces of many famous men including Robin Leach, Vince Neil, Michael Flatley, Lance Burton, Rich Little, Pat Morris, Emeril Lagasse, Clint Holmes, The Scintas, Carrot Top and Walter Cronkite.
